Obba Layé features musicians from Cuba, Uruguay & Chile, finding each other in Sydney, Australia, to form a musical soup blending Jazz with African & Caribbean elements.

Presenting a unique originals repertoire, Obba Layé also takes some well-known jazz standards & gives them an Afro-Latin treatment, injecting Afro-Cuban Grooves & unique original arrangements which are sure to surprise & delight jazz & Cuban music lovers alike.
