The Jazz Duet “White Cat” was born in 2019 as a collaboration between two professional musicians, a pianist, a composer Alex Parkmen and a violinist Leo Novikov. Initially started with Jazz arrangements of popular Classical music’ pieces, Leo and Alex moved on towards the energetic and expressive style of Funk-Jazz. “This music makes us feel younger!”. Started with compositions by Herbie Hancock, Dizzy Gillespie, and Bob Withers; they also incorporated original works by Alex Parkmen. Every concert of the Jazz Duet “White Cat” becomes a delightfully entertaining show featuring the mesmerising technique and brilliant artistry of Leo Novikov and Alex Parkmen.
