FRRR’s Investing in Rural Communities Futures (IRCF) program is currently supporting not-for-profit organisations in Nowra with resources and funding.

We need your input on what is needed to strengthen local organisations.

Please join us for a conversation with other not-for-profit organisations from Nowra and Bomaderry to discuss this important question, and others such as.

  • What is unique about our community?
  • What are the strengths of our not-for-profit organisations?
  • What would support us to be even stronger?
  • How can we work better together?

Your contributions will form the basis of a Community Roadmap that we will co-create over the next few months. It will document your shared vision for what projects are needed to strengthen Nowra's community organisations.

This will also be an opportunity to pause, reflect and share stories in a COVID safe space, after a very challenging year.

This workshop is for you if you are:

  • already being funded by FRRR through the IRCF Program; or
  • involved in a community-based not-for-profit in the Nowra area.

Please nominate two people from your organisation (volunteers, board or paid team members) to participate, so we can ensure diverse perspectives.

  • Please note, numbers are limited to 30 to enable us to deliver a COVID safe workshop.
  • If the event is at capacity, please register for the waitlist. If the health advice at the time allows us to invite a bigger group, we will re-open registrations seven days out.
  • Attending the whole workshop time is most beneficial, but we understand if this is not possible. Please do come along, even if you can only join us for a shorter period of time.
  • The workshop is free to attend and will be catered by the venue.
