The Shrine of Remembrance is Victoria's national war memorial, built in 1934 to honour First World War veterans and now commemorating all Australians who have served.

of Remembrance, home to over 800 artefacts, including an original Gallipoli landing boat and personal stories of Australians in war and peacekeeping. Discover the Sanctuary's classical interior, where Ray of Light demonstrations occur every half hour. From the Balcony, take in breathtaking views of Melbourne and the surrounding memorial gardens.
