We all deserve to feel safe and respected as we get older. Sometimes it can be tricky to navigate our options. We may feel less confident as we age or find it difficult to have conversations with our loved ones.

This session will provide information on protecting the rights of people as they get older, the problems of ageism, the signs and risks of elder abuse, how to prevent it and what to do if your rights, or the rights of someone else are not being respected.

This session will be delivered by Seniors Rights Victoria and the Eastern Community Legal Centre.

'Protecting your Rights as you get Older' is a '16 Days of Activism' activity and a partnership between Knox City Council, Maroondah City Council, Seniors Rights Victoria and Eastern Community Legal Centre.

Helpful resources will be provided to you via email after the session.
