2.30pm - 3.30pm

Come and create your own native animal artwork at the National Arboretum Canberra! Using natural resources collected on site, you will craft a piece of art while learning about the significance of plants and animals to Indigenous Australians.

You will also have the opportunity to learn about Indigenous symbols and paint this onto a eucalyptus leaf to be added to a hanging mobile!

We will be taking a short walk into a nearby forests so please ensure children have covered shoes, have a sun hat and are dressed for the weather.

Suitable for ages 4 - 7 years.  Parents are free and required to stay with their children for this workshop. Parents will need to book a free ticket to ensure social distancing numbers.  Pram friendly. 

Numbers are limited for this event to ensure social distancing. If you or your child are unwell, please do not attend.

Bathroom and hand washing facilities are available.
