Flying Solo Workshop

We’ll chat about the importance of branding, finding your target market, writing bios, working with room runners…. All the things you need to know to get your solo show up and running.

Note: This is a condensed version of a the 5 day workshop, so it is JAM PACKED with info, but please note that it does not cover META (Facebook, Instagram) Ads Management - That requires a whole session (or more!) on it's own.

I have been a self-managed, touring comedian since 2021, when I launched my first solo show 'Teardrops on My Dildo'. In 2023, I resigned from my day job as a Learning and Development Officer and Mental Health First Aid Facilitator, relying entirely on income from my solo show.

Since then, I have sold out shows across the world, from 100 - 550 seaters, in Scotland, England, Ireland, Netherlands and New Zealand. I have performed in most major Comedy & Fringe Festivals in Australia, along with continuous regional tours.

In Jan 2025, I launched my second solo show 'Lube Me Alone', which has a similar tour path scheduled to my first show, with dates scheduled for New Zealand and the UK in 2025 and 2026. 

I don't claim to know it all, but I have learnt A LOT about touring and the business side of comedy, and I am confident I can help you avoid the same mistakes I made and hopefully get more bums on seats for your shows.
