Full tilt in the third set and change direction as Nadya & the 101 Candles Orkestra, loyal and true to Easter Europe, the Balkans and Gypsy, ignite the evening with their fiery blend of gypsy jazz, tango, and world rhythms. Nadya Golski—described by John Shand (SMH) as “a contralto of power, range, and conviction”—leads the charge with a voice so commanding it “would light up a room if the power failed.” With rich, emotive vocals and the Candles’ electrifying musicianship, expect a transportive, heart-pounding opening set that will have you on your feet from the very first note.

Front and centre of both ensembles is the unstoppable Nadya Golski—bold, fiery, funny, and full of surprises (sometimes in French, Spanish, or Tok Pisin, just because she can and feels like it).

From Rod Stewart to Roberta Flack, Leonard Cohen to modern classics, every SoulSka tune gets a makeover with fat horns, lush harmonies, and grooves that won’t quit. Expect singalongs, dance-offs, flirtatious chaos, and maybe a few stilettos in the air as the countdown begins.

All of this unfolds inside the intimate, stylish warmth of Django@ Camelot Lounge, the perfect setting for a night of mystery, rhythm, emotion, and unrestrained celebration.
