Born in Fiji, and formed musically in the dance music revolution of London in the late ’90s, FreQ Nasty started his career on the seminal UK Bass label Botchit & Scarper and moved to SKINT/Sony Records in 2003 alongside Fatboy Slim, Dave Clarke, and X-Press 2. Over the coming years, he went on to release a slew of cutting-edge Breakbeat/Garage records collaborating with &/or remixing Fatboy Slim, Kelis, KRS One, Roots Manuva, Rodney P, and Reggae legend Junior Delgado and becoming a fixture of the global Electronic Music scene. He is one of Burning Man’s most loved DJs, and his signature Bass-heavy sets have been a pilgrimage for fans of the legendary Nevada desert festival for years.
