Crime Scene Victor Harbor
Victor Harbor will be declared a crime scene this August, as the coastal town transforms into a hub for true crime enthusiasts and citizen sleuths during the inaugural CRIME SCENE Victor Harbor festival.
Created by investigative journalist and Sleepers podcast host Bryan Littlely, the three-day event (August 21–23) brings together some of Australia’s leading voices in true crime storytelling, cold case investigation, and forensic analysis. Littlely’s own podcast Sleepers has surpassed 100,000 downloads and anchors a program built around live shows, expert panels, and immersive experiences.
The lineup features major names including Sally Leydon (The Lady Vanishes, 22M+ downloads), Debi Marshall, Derek Pedley, and Adam Shand, alongside a deep bench of podcast creators and crime writers exploring murder, missing persons, and real investigations.
Across Victor Harbor’s Main Street precinct, venues will host live podcast recordings, author talks, true crime film screenings, and interactive forensic experiences—including a mock crime scene led by criminologist Asha Walther-McKenzie.
With hundreds expected to attend, CRIME SCENE Victor Harbor offers a rare chance to step inside the world of real investigations—where storytelling, evidence, and unanswered questions collide.
