Dance Central invite you to come and experience the DKC Benefit and Night Market on Saturday 24 June, created to help DKC fund their trip to Arizona USA to compete in Hip Hop International, August 2017.

THESE KIDS ARE ON FIRE & NEED OUR HELP TO MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE!

DKC is a kids crew consisting of eight kids (8 -12 years of age), training after school for 8 hours per week. These kids are passionate, highly motivated and truly love what they do. DKC has recently been announced number 2 in Australia in one of the worlds most recognised Street Dance Competitions ‘Hip Hop International’. Now presented with the opportunity to represent our country at the World finals in Phoenix, Arizona USA on 8 August 2017, we are seeking support to help make this dream a reality!

THE EVENT

The event will showcase Canberra's best Urban talents from dancers and singers. There will be two shows running on Sat 24 June (afternoon & evening show) with a Night Market full of delicious food and drinks between each session.

FUNDING GOAL

Our fundraising target is $50,000 AUD and through various fundraising activities and community backing believe we can achieve this goal by July 2017. We are committed to ensuring no child is left behind due to the huge financial investment that is required to get them to Arizona, determined to see these kids perform on the world stage and fulfill their dreams.

FUNDS USE

The funds will be used for the crew of eight dancers (during event period only) across travel, accommodation, food, costume and extra training sessions

It is our mission at Dance Central to back up our students and believe in them. Believing in someone opens doors and creates opportunity. Each donation offered towards DKC's opportunity to represent our country in this world event offers each child a new door for opportunity in their future by demonstrating the strength of community and power of belief.
