Australian Mens and Mixed Netball Association

The Australian Men's and Mixed Netball Association (AMMNA) is the peak body for the sport, and focused on the growth and promotion of netball for men's and mixed teams throughout Australia.
Established in the 1980's AMMNA supported and provided opportunities for male and mixed-gender teams to compete in a sport traditionally dominated by women. One of AMMNA's objectives is to create an inclusive environment for players of all genders to participate and compete in particular at the elite level.
The Australian Mens Netball Team, known as the Kelpies, represents the pinnacle of men’s netball in Australia, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. The Kelpies have become a symbol of excellence in men’s netball, competing at an international level and garnering recognition for their skill and sportsmanship. Under AMMNA's guidance, the Kelpies participate in various events, including taking on netball's fiercest rivals in New Zealand annually. Their success not only highlights the growing prominence of men’s netball but also serves as an inspiration for aspiring male players. Through the Kelpies and other initiatives, AMMNA continues to drive the development of the sport, promoting inclusivity and encouraging wider participation across Australia.
