Cassie Day

Cassie Day is the founder of Changemakers & Risk Takers International and is a multi-award-winning businesswoman supporting social impact enterprises through her workshops, coaching, consulting and motivational speaking. She built (2016), scaled and successfully exited The Carers Place in 2024. A seven-figure social enterprise in the disability sector, TCP was a business inspired by her own lived experience as a carer of more than 24 years.

A Fellow of the Governor’s Leadership Program 2023 (Leaders Institute South Australia), Cassie’s qualifications span management, community services and health. Cassie’s business acumen is well supported by her 16 years in HR + OHS within the SA Government.

Well known in the South Australian entrepreneurial landscape, Cassie is a true community builder and innovator who has a proven track record of curating major high-level sold-out business events that include over 200 attendees each at both the “2026 International Women’s Day Luncheon - Championing Women in Care” and the “2025 NDIS State of the Nation Summit - SA”.

Following the successful sale of her business in 2024, Cassie now guides impact led industry leaders, businesses and their teams on social impact, sustainable growth, strategy, change and leadership. A sought-after speaker, her raw and inspiring storytelling leaves audiences feeling seen and empowered to create real impact.

Cassie has held positions on the Boards of Cystic Fibrosis SA and Afghan Women’s Federation of SA. She is a current business coach for Collab4Good and has recently been appointed to the Board of SASEC (SA Social Enterprise Council), something she sees as a natural progression and an important extension of her work.
