"Back to the 1950s" Festival.

Over the weekend of 2-4 October 2026, Chiltern and Barnawartha will be celebrating all things 1950s.

Come and join us for 

• Screening of iconic 50s inspired movie, Back to the Future in the historic Star Theatre
• Rock and Roll dance featuring Rock & Roll dance group, Johnny's Rockers and local band Overtime Duo at Memorial Hall 
• 1950s fashion parade in Memorial Hall
• Vintage car and bike displays
• Vintage market, 50s displays and activities, dance displays in Conness St
• Vintage bowling at Chiltern Bowling Club
• Cruze along old Highway 31 between Chiltern and Barnawartha
• 50s events at the Star Hotel, Barnawartha
