About the Managing Director:

Dr Deb Callcott   B.Ed (HPE) M Ed (Special Needs) Phd.

Dr. Deb. Callcott is an experienced teacher, author and researcher. Deb has qualifications in Physical and Health Education and a Masters in Special Needs. She has taught Physical Education to children from a wide variety of age groups in both mainstream and Special Needs settings working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists.

Her PhD involved intensive research into the link between learning disabilities and movement, which is her main area of interest. Deb has provided extensive support to schools in developing holistic movement programs for children. Her ground breaking research, published in an international Early Childhood Journal, outlines the efficacy of linking movement to beginning literacy in the early years using her movement program.

Deb has presented at numerous conferences, written in a number of research journals and has trained hundreds of teachers to implement her program with great success.
