RACQ LifeFlight Rescue

RACQ LifeFlight Rescue has proudly supported the Queensland community for more than 40 years through the provision of emergency aeromedical care on board our iconic blue-and-yellow community helicopters.

Our LifeFlight Critical Care Doctors undergo intensive, rapid-response training through the LifeFlight Training Academy, and are on-call 24/7 to help people in need.

With five RACQ LifeFlight Rescue bases across the State, we are here for Queenslanders. Each helicopter rescue crew is on standby around-the-clock and can be in the air within minutes of being tasked with a mission; whether it’s an injured farmer in the outback or a child in the suburbs who needs to get to a major hospital.

Through the ongoing support of the community, the service has performed over 56,000 rescues over the past four decades and reunited countless people with their families and loved ones.
