Southern Cross Soloists

Balancing on tradition and exploration, Southern Cross Soloists embrace 21st century chamber music by pairing new Australian art music with reimaginations of traditional works arranged for unique instrumental forces. As a collective of musicians, each a highly acclaimed ‘soloist’ in their own right, the company has been transporting audiences with exquisite and intimate performances in the most diverse and charming locations since 1995.

The Southern Cross Soloists tour nationally and internationally, and are frequently broadcast on ABC Classic FM. Each August, the company produces the Bangalow Music Festival, a major event in the Australian music scene that delivers performances from Australian and international artists, while providing meaningful community outreach to regional NSW. Their three annual concerts at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) consistently sell out year on year, and they have recorded for ABC Classics, Melba, and their own label, SCS Classics.
