YesCambodia.org is a Western Australian fund raising group founded by Mr. Don Hancey, a Perth based chef and recognised Australian Food Ambassador who in 2004 began the process of initiating and developing strong personal and donor links with Cambodian nationals, international aid groups, and the Australian Diplomatic and Business Community, in and around Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap, Cambodia. YesCambodia.org seeks to directly and tangibly benefit Cambodian people who are grossly, socially and economically disadvantaged; including orphaned, homeless, disabled, disfigured, diseased, uneducated, and skill limited. YesCambodia.org has directly engaged and formed dynamic and transparent relationships with selected Not for Profit, humanitarian organisations operating in Cambodia, and aims that funds raised in Australia will form targeted donations to empower disadvantaged individuals towards gaining healthy lives and sustainable livelihoods; and that any benefits arising from this empowerment will also enhance impoverished communities by increasing its member’s opportunities.
